Detailed Session Descriptions

Anchors Aweigh at the LAUG Opening

All aboard for this launch session that provides the latest information on valuable sessions and events planned for the week so you can navigate the areas and activities most important to your business and maximize your Vision attendance. We’ll also conduct traditional business, including status of the group, expansion ideas and discussion about product enhancements.

Interfacing with Third-Party and In-House Systems

In the fast-paced environment of collections within a commercial bank, innovation is key to managing change. To gain a competitive edge and leverage new technology, it’s important to interface traditional collection systems with third-party and other in-house systems. This session explores a methodical approach to successful integration.

Regulations to Guide Your Way

ICUG and LAUG sail together on a regulatory review cruise hosted by Sam Teague. This session covers legislative updates and topics such as 1099 and 1099c, the Servicemember’s Civil Relief Act (SCRA) and bankruptcy legislation as charted by each user group during Vision 2007.

Chart Your Course: Best Practices Roundtable

This is a great opportunity to discuss and learn about best practices implemented by your peers in the collections and recovery industry. This annual roundtable discussion reviews industry trends and statistics before tacking to a lively discussion about new collection and recovery techniques successfully used by other financial institutions during the past year.

Sunrise Breakfast with LAUG

LAUG passengers are invited to this special session specifically designed to build camaraderie, strengthen business relationships within the group and maximize the exchange of peer information. This creative session also provides an excellent opportunity to ask TriSyn Group cruise staff any lingering business questions to ensure that you return to port with all the answers.

Customer Loyalty Training

One client’s collection department is dedicated to collecting the maximum amount of delinquent dollars for the bank, while at the same time providing its customers with the highest level of service. As you’ll learn from this informative session, collections and customer service are not really all that different.

Seller’s Guide to Portfolio Sales

Selling less lucrative inventory allows financial institutions to maintain profitability while improving risk management efficiencies. Inventory sales have many positive benefits including additional income, sidestepping storage charges, saving on administrative and labor costs as well as maintaining a consistent portfolio balance. This session takes an in-depth look at how portfolio sales have been successfully managed by one client.
